Wedding Details
Our wedding will take place on Sunday, August 31st at Pleasant Home in Oak Park, Illinois. We are sincerely excited to share this day with our family and friends.
The Pleasant Home, also known as the John Farson House, is located in the heart of Oak Park, Illinois, one of the nation's most architecturally significant villages. Pleasant Home is one of the earliest and most distinguished examples of the Prairie School of architecture. It is located about 15 minutes west of Chicago.

The Carleton Hotel is a short walk from Pleasant Home and next to the CTA Oak Park stop. Please make your reservations soon, as this is Labor Day weekend in Chicago.

Getting Here
Public transit: The most direct and convenient access is to take either the Chicago-Northwestern (Metra) or CTA Green Line "L" to the Harlem/Marion station. The Pleasant Home is 3 blocks due south.
Alternately, take the CTA Congress "L" Blue Line to the Oak Park Avenue station. Take the Oak Park Avenue bus (or catch a Taxi) north to Pleasant Street. In nice weather, this is a pleasant walk also, about 1 mile. Then walk about two blocks west to Home Avenue.
By car: Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Harlem Avenue (Illinois 430), exit north and continue five blocks to Randolf Street. Turn east and continue three blocks to Home Street. Proceed north one block to 217 S. Home Avenue. Parking is available on the street directly in front of and to the side of the Pleasant Home.
